Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead our HR function and support the achievement of our organizational goals.
- The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record of driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Administer compensation, benefits, payroll support, and employee welfare programs.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Advise management on HR best practices, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- 5–7 years' proven experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and compensation management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS) is an added advantage.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
- Must be available for immediate employment.
