Job Summary
- The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
- The role involves developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing actionable insights to improve business performance, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.
- Monitor and analyze key business KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc management reports.
- Conduct sales, financial, operational, and customer data analysis to support business decisions.
- Perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Identify business opportunities and risks through data-driven insights.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operations to understand reporting needs.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes where possible.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
