Position: Accountant

Job Description:
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and journals
Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, payroll, and expenses
Prepare and monitor project budgets and track construction costs, materials, and subcontractor payments
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and project-specific reports
Support audits and provide documentation to regulatory authorities
Ensure compliance with tax laws and prepare VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax returns
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or construction
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
