Job Summary
- We are looking for a creative, proactive, and commercially minded Marketing Assistant to support the execution of our marketing and brand initiatives across digital and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update the company's social media platforms with engaging and creative content.
- Develop innovative marketing ideas and support the execution of brand campaigns.
- Coordinate Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Manage digital marketing activities and ensure consistent brand visibility across online platforms.
- Work with designers and suppliers to develop and update marketing materials, artwork, and branding assets.
- Collaborate with the sales team on distributor branding and point-of-sale marketing initiatives.
- Monitor competitor marketing activities and industry trends.
- Support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives to improve online visibility.
- Prepare corporate presentations, marketing reports, and promotional materials.
- Support new product launches and other strategic marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant marketing experience (5 years is preferred).
- Experience within the building materials industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in the tiles industry will be a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Experience coordinating ATL and BTL marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using graphic design and creative tools (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, creativity, organizational, and project coordination skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 per month.
