Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our upscale hotel.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and a proven track record in managing a team and ensuring top-notch guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and maintenance.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage and motivate the hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth and development.
- Oversee guest services, ensuring that guests receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service throughout their stay.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety throughout the property.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local businesses to ensure the hotel's needs are met efficiently.
- Create and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive occupancy rates and increase revenue.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints in a timely and effective manner, striving to exceed guest expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 - 5+ years experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of the local hospitality market and industry trends.
Lekki Market Expectation:
- Handling high-end guests including business travelers and expatriates
- Managing boutique or luxury hotel operations
- Ensuring strong security and guest comfort in a busy urban environment
