Senior Accountant
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, prepare accurate financial reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business decision-making through sound financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or ICAN) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, including experience in a senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 / month.
