Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor to join our clinical team.
- The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care by diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing medical emergencies, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of patients.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patients' progress.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care.
- Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call duties as scheduled.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory personnel, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine.
- Current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Completion of internship and NYSC
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a reputable healthcare facility.
- Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records is an added advantage.
Salary
N450,000 - N500,000 / month.
