Cashier

About the Role
- We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Abuja.
- You will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, maintaining cash records, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Transactions & Payments:
- Process sales transactions: cash, POS, and bank transfers accurately and efficiently
- Issue receipts and ensure all payments are properly recorded
- Balance cash register at the start and end of each shift.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and attend to inquiries professionally
- Resolve basic customer complaints and escalate where needed
Record Keeping & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate daily sales and cash reports
- Ensure cash handling procedures and company policies are followed
- Work with the store/account team for reconciliation and audit
Requirements
- SSCE minimum.
- 1-2 years experience as a Cashier in retail, supermarket, or FMCG is preferred
- Good numeracy, attention to detail, and basic computer/POS skills
- Honest, trustworthy, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure.
Salary
N100,000 per month.
