Senior Project Manager

Job Summary
- This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive productivity, solve technical challenges, and maintain strict compliance with quality, safety, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of construction projects by contractors and site teams.
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure timely project delivery and proper documentation.
- Identify, manage, and resolve technical issues and construction snags within approved timelines.
- Monitor material issuance and minimize material wastage.
- Review contractors' work progress and provide regular updates and recommendations to the Construction Project Manager.
- Plan and coordinate workforce scheduling, deployment, and productivity.
- Ensure timely availability of construction materials to prevent project delays.
- Monitor compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship, housekeeping, and site organization.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly project progress reports.
- Coordinate contractors, artisans, suppliers, and vendors to achieve project milestones.
- Support the Construction Project Manager in project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies across all project sites.

- Snag resolution completed within 3 working days
- Material wastage maintained below 5%
- Daily site inspection compliance: 100%

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in construction project execution.
- Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
- Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is required.
- Proven experience managing contractors, site operations, and construction teams.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, quality control, and HSE requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities across project sites.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
