Job Description
- Paidjob postingWe are seeking to recruit an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide executive leadership for the Bank's finance function and contribute to the achievement of its strategic objectives.
- The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial leadership capabilities, sound commercial judgment, and extensive experience within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership to support the Bank's business objectives and sustainable growth.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Oversee treasury, capital management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management.
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Advise Executive Management and the Board on financial strategy, investment decisions, and overall financial performance.
- Drive operational efficiency and profitability through effective financial management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. A postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience in Financial Management and/or Performance Management within the financial services industry.
- At least five (5) years of the required experience must have been at a Senior Management level.
- Candidates must have spent a minimum of three (3) years as a Senior Manager (SM) in a bank or in an equivalent grade within a non-banking financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, corporate finance, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Salary
N3,000,000 - N5,000,000 / Month.
