Job Summary
- We are seeking a smart, courteous, and service-oriented Customer Service Intern to support the front desk and client experience functions of our clinic.
- The ideal candidate will assist with attending to clients, managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all clients.
- This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in customer service within a healthcare environment while developing strong communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Attend to client inquiries in person, via phone calls, WhatsApp, and email where applicable.
- Assist with client registration and ensure all required details are accurately captured.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and follow up on client appointments.
- Direct clients to the appropriate floor/department, healthcare professional, or service point.
- Support the resolution of basic complaints or escalate issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk/reception area.
- Assist with filing, updating, and maintaining client or administrative records in line with clinic procedures.
- Help ensure a seamless client experience by providing timely information and support.
- Follow up with client where required for appointment reminders, feedback, or service updates.
- Observe and comply with clinic policies on confidentiality, professionalism, and patient care.
- Provide general administrative support to the customer service/front desk team as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in a relevant field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and courteous disposition.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Previous internship, customer-facing, or administrative experience is an added advantage.
