Mechanical Engineer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Primary Focus: Machines, equipment, production line efficiency, maintenance planning.
Key Responsibilities
Design, install, and maintain production machinery (mixers, homogenizers, fillers, cappers).
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Optimize material flow and machine throughput.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot mechanical faults.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance logs.
Support equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new machines.
Ensure workplace safety compliance (machine guards, lock-out/tag-out procedures).
Skills / Knowledge
Mechanical systems (gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics).
CAD and machine design fundamentals.
Maintenance management systems (CMMS).
